I just released a second video which involves elderly cleaners. I do not understand why in our country, where the GDP is one of the highest in the world, elderly cleaners still have to bend over and clean tables. I feel it is very embarrassing and saddening. Go to a food court, coffee shop or hawker centre and there will be at least 1 or more of them. And, cleaners only given 1 day off in 2 weeks.
On labour day, a public hol, I went around to interview some of these cleaners(and oso some foreign workers) and give them some money for a decent meal. some of the things they said shocked me and made me very sad.
This is the link to the video.
I hope you can watch and share the video, and subscribe to my channel on youtube. I really need this for myself, but more so for the people im trying to help. Thank you

Hi Kevin – No idea what happens to my earlier post above. So many junk…maybe my computer has a virus…My earlier post should be as follows..
Your video on elderly cleaners reflects on the social problem of Singapore. It is a major problem in the coming years as elderly citizens are not protected in Singapore. There are a lot of elderly parents being made to work at home, not getting any salary or allowance as a servant in taking care of the household or grandchildren. So when they get older and fall sick, most of them are left to live in a Nursing Home by themselves. The children and grandchildren will be too happy to have them not around in the same house.
So what happened when they fall sick and need to pay for their medical expenses, their employer (children) will decide they are not useful anymore and should let them die soon. See story below:

So after reading this story, perhaps you would think that a elderly cleaners are so much better off, at least they get paid and with some medical coverage from their employers. Whereas elderly parents working at home getting no pay!!
