Please forgive me if this is not the right forum to post my problem, as I really cannot find a more appropriate one.

I called SingTel to subscribe data roaming, which costs $15 per day, before bringing my tablet overseas for five days. I was told to hook up to the right network, but not told the consequences of hooking up to a wrong network.

After I had arrived at my destination, I used my tablet to access the network there and confirmed that I had hooked up to the right network.

However, when I was back, Singtel told me that there were two days that I had hooked up to the wrong network and I had incurred a more than $4000 bill. It was a rude shock.

SingTel told me that they did sent 3 SMSes to my tablet to inform me about the wrong network, but I did not received.

Your kind advice is greatly appreciated
